Who this covers

This policy covers chelepanto.com (the "Site"), run by Francesco Lepanto ("Chelepanto," "we," "us"). It explains what information we collect from visitors, why, and what we do with it.

What we collect

If you donate — the amount, the date, and, only if you choose to provide them: a display name for the public donation wall, and an email address (only if you opt in to receive updates on how funds are used). Payment card details are handled entirely by Stripe, our payment processor — we never see or store your card number.

If you sign up for updates (newsletter, launch notifications) — your email address, used only to send what you signed up for.

The post history and media on this Site — photos, videos, and posts shown on the Site are Francesco's own content, sourced from his own Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube accounts with his authorization. This isn't data collected from Site visitors.

Site analytics

To understand which pages people find useful, the Site records basic, anonymous usage statistics: which pages are viewed, roughly how long they're on screen and how far down they're scrolled, which links and buttons are clicked, the site that referred you (if any), and your general device type, browser, and country. A random identifier is stored in your browser's local storage so repeat visits can be counted once; we don't store your IP address, and this data isn't sold or used for advertising. If your browser sends a "Do Not Track" signal, none of this is recorded.

Children

This Site is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
